Hybrid Solar and BESS

Solar Panels

Combining Renewable Power Production with Battery Energy Storage provides a more efficient, reliable, and flexible power solution than either system could alone.

Storing excess solar energy for later use, the BESS smooths out the intermittent nature of solar generation, and  balances supply and demand for improved grid stability.

These systems are applicable to small through to large-scale industrial facilities, and suited to both grid-tied and off-grid applications, such as regional mining and agriculture.

How it works

Photovoltaic (PV) panels capture sunlight and convert it into electricity. The electricity generated is either used immediately or sent to the BESS for storage in batteries.

An energy management system or power plant controller is required for managing power flows, deciding when to charge the battery, use stored energy, or draw from the grid.

The system can provide power during peak demand, at night, or during periods of low solar output, ensuring a consistent energy supply.
