Banpu Energy Australia was selected by ACE Power to construct the Kerang Battery Energy Storage System Following an Agreement with ACE Power.
The project is being developed on private land adjacent to the Kerang Terminal station in Victoria.
Grid Connection Approval was recieved by ACE Power in 2023 and Banpu was excited to become the contractors for this project.
The BESS consists of a 103MW battery system, offering around 2 hours storage.
